
According to a recent report there will be a new Samsung foldable smartphone launching next year and Samsung is apparently testing out the handset at the moment.
The company is said to be testing out two different versions of the Samsung foldable smartphone at the moment, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor the other with a Snapdragon 620.
Samsung have apparently not decided as yet which of the two processors will be used in the handset, although they have decided on some of the other specifications.
The device will apparently come with 3GB of RAM and an SD card slot which will allow for storage expansion, the handset will also feature a non removable battery.
As yet there are no details on why Samsung is testing out Qualcomm new processors in this new smartphone, the company decided to use their own Exynos processors for their S6 range of handsets.
We previously heard a rumor that Samsung may start using Qualcomm again for the Galaxy S7 smartphone, they are expected to offer two versions of the device, on with a Qualcomm processor, the other with an Exynos processor.
As soon as we get some more details on this new foldable smartphone from Samsung, we will let you guys know.
