Samsung Pay will launch in the US and South Korea shortly, the new mobile payment service is expected to launch in September.
Samsung is teasing out Samsung Pay in South Korea at the moment and now we have some details on Samsung’s plans for the service in Europe.
MasterCard has announced that they have partnered with Samsung to help launch the company’s mobile payment system in Europe.
“Samsung Pay is pleased to join forces with MasterCard to offer a simple and safe mobile payment experience enabled for wider merchant acceptance to MasterCard cardholders and issuers in Europe,” said Injong Rhee, EVP of Samsung Electronics, Global Head of Samsung Pay. “Both organisations are committed to ground breaking fintech innovations that will deliver on the promise of a true mobile wallet.”

As yet there are no details on when Samsung will launch Samsung Pay in Europe, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
