We reported earlier that AT&T is the first carrier to officially announce the Moto X, which is expected to hit AT&T stores starting 23 August. However, it appears that Rogers will take the crown of the first carrier to offer Moto X in the world. It has been revealed that Rogers will also offer Moto X in Canada starting this week – thanks to a leaked internal document. Unfortunately, the device will be available in limited quantities so all those Canadian users who want to get their hands on the Moto X can reserve the device online via Rogers Reservation System or visit a local Rogers store.
The document states,
The Moto X has begun to ship to select Rogers locations in limited quantities. If an existing customer is unable to locate a device, please direct them to log into the Rogers Reservation System to reserve a device and it will be delivered to the Rogers location of their choosing when it’s available. New customers can register for updates at www.rogers.com/motox. They’ll receive an email as soon as devices become available nationwide.
There is no confirmed news about the pricing of the device but rumors suggest that the device will be available for $189.99 with a 2-year contract and $549.99 off-contract. We will find out pretty soon how much truth lies in this rumor and will share any information we can get about the launch of Moto X in Canada.
