Roku has launched a new affordable 4K streaming player today priced at just $40 and taking the form of the Roku Premiere. Roku Has launched two new devices today that offer 4K HDR video streaming with the other aptly named the Premiere+ priced at $50 and will be exclusively sold at Walmart. The bundles include both the streaming hardware and remote control as pictured above and both support connectivity via wireless 802.11n.
Internally the hardware is powered by a quad core processor and the HDR support offers HDR 10 but not Dolby Vision. The Premiere and Premiere+ streaming systems are available to preorder from today and will start shipping early in October 2018.
Roku is also “updating” its top-tier Roku Ultra by adding JBL earbuds to the box; the hardware is otherwise identical and will sell for the same $99.99 price. For more information and details jump over to the official Roku website by following the link belo
