At CES 2016 in January Rinspeed will be on hand and the company will be showing off a new concept car called the Etos. This is a concept is unlikely to see production, but it has some cool features that many people might like to see go into production. One of the coolest features is that the car is autonomous.
That means you can tell it where to take you or where to go and the car will do all the driving on its own. When in autonomous mode, the steering wheel folds and retracts into the dash to give the driver more room to relax or play. The car has lots of connected services with Harman Connected Car technologies inside.
Presumably, that means you can stream video and surf the web while the car drives you to your destination. I like to drive myself, but I would welcome the ability to sit back and take in the sights on long road trips while the car takes over driving duties. One of the coolest features of the Etos is the integrated drone landing pad. That drone can deliver items the car picks up or record video of the hybrid sports car in action.
