The Pure Digital Flip Ultra, is a tiny hand held point and shoot video camera, designed to make it easy to record and upload videos to YouTube.
The Flip Ultra is capable of recording up to 60 minutes of video at 30fps at a resolution of 640 x 480.
It measures 4.1 x 2.3 x 1.4 inches, which means it is really compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around.
The Pure Digital Flip Ultra comes with a built in USB connector, which allows you to connect the camera direct to your PC, so you can upload and edit your videos with ease.
It features a 1.4 inch LCD screen, where you can preview your videos, or views the ones you are recording, it also has a built in navigation pad that lets you adjust 2x digital zoom.
The unit we tested was the 2GB version, there is also a 4GB version available, overall it did a great job of shooting video, and the process of uploading them to your PC or YouTube couldn’t be easier.
If you are looking for a cheap no frills hand held video camera, that does a good job at recording video for uploading to YouTube and other video sharing sites then the Pure Digital Flip Ultra is ideal.
