Co-creator of the awesome HDMIPi monitor Alex Eames, as well as other useful Raspberry Pi add-ons has this week launched a new campaign for his useful Raspberry Pi GPIO Quick Reference Ruler.
The quick reference ruler provides all the references for the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins together with a few handy GPIO commands that are available as a quick glance
The Raspberry Pi GPIO Quick Reference Ruler is now available to back over on the Kickstarter website from just £3 with £1 Postage and packaging. Watch the video below to learn more about it.
I use RPi.GPIO quite a lot, but I still find myself using my own blog, over at RasPi.TV, to look up the exact Python code I need. What I’d really like is something I can just pick up and look at – a really portable ‘crib-sheet’ with all the most commonly used code. But pieces of paper get easily lost, or buried in piles. It’d be nice to have something permanent and portable like the RasPiO Portsplus board.
The RPi.GPIO ruler fits neatly in your pencil case or toolbox and acts as a perfect aide memoire for GPIO programming, in Python, on the Raspberry Pi. It’s also a port ID board and you can even use it to measure things and draw straight lines. It’s designed to be useful, attractive and affordable.
The project is currently on Kickstarter looking to raise just £2,468 in funding
