Over the weekend the Raspberry Pi Foundation has unveiled a new add-on for their $35 Raspberry Pi computer, in the form of a fantastic 14 megapixel camera add-on. However the megapixel’s might be reduced a little in the final version.
The prototype camera add-on board for the Raspberry Pi computer is currently under development and still being tested. View one o the first photos to be released on the Raspberry Pi website after the jump.
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is hoping to officially launch their new camera add-on, later this year, and its been design to plug directly into those CSI pins in the middle of the Raspberry Pi board.
Unfortunately no information on pricing has been released as yet for the new Raspberry Pi computer camera add-on, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
