Land Rover have added a new model to their Range Rover range, the Range Rover Sport HST, and the SUV features a hybrid powertrain.
The Range Rover Sport HST is powered by a 3.0-litre petrol engine that produces 300 PS (296 horsepower). It also has an electric supercharger that is powered by a 48V system, which significantly enhances its performance and efficiency.
The Range Rover Sport effortlessly combines dynamic on-road handling, luxurious refinement, and trademark Land Rover all-terrain capability. The introduction of an all-new 400PS in-line six-cylinder 3.0-litre petrol engine enhances performance, refinement, and responses along with improved fuel economy.
Available initially on the special edition HST model, the all-new 400PS* Ingenium engine is more responsive and better balanced than the previous V6 petrol. With 550Nm of torque, it powers the Range Rover Sport from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 6.2 seconds (0-60mph in 5.9 seconds) and to a top speed of 225km/h (140mph).
Advanced Hybrid Technology
The hybrid technology in the Range Rover Sport HST is a significant leap forward for Land Rover. The 48V electric supercharger works in tandem with the petrol engine to provide immediate throttle response, eliminating turbo lag and ensuring a smooth and powerful drive. This system not only boosts performance but also contributes to better fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, aligning with global trends towards more environmentally friendly vehicles.
Luxurious Features and Design
Inside, the Range Rover Sport HST offers a blend of luxury and advanced technology. The cabin is adorned with high-quality materials, including premium leather and real wood veneers. The seats are designed for maximum comfort, featuring heating, cooling, and massage functions. The infotainment system is state-of-the-art, with a large touchscreen display, navigation, and connectivity options such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The exterior design of the Range Rover Sport HST is both elegant and aggressive, with a distinctive front grille, sleek LED headlights, and aerodynamic lines that enhance its sporty appearance. The SUV sits on large alloy wheels, which not only add to its aesthetic appeal but also improve handling and stability.
