You can look behind my desk and tell right away that I am not concerned with a tangle of wires. My wife on the other hand likes to use zip ties and keep things tidy. She’s weird. If you are the tidy sort, too Quirky has a new product called the Cable Collar that can hide cords and keep them neat.
The Cable Collar attaches behind the faceplate of any outlet in the US and will hide 24-inches of cable. It has six different notches around the outside to grip the cables and keep them secure. The thing is designed to blend in to the room and is made from heat resistant materials.
The Cable Collar reminds me of one of those cones you put around a dogs head to keep them from scratching after a surgery. Quirky is asking $6.99 each for the things and plans to build 3000. You can pre-order now and so far 118 of them are spoken for.Filed Under: Concepts & Design, Gadgets News
