I am a fan of automotive racing and I can tell you some of the accidents that occur will leave you scratching your head wondering how exactly that all happened. I’ve seen cars fly through the air like a bird. I’ve seen cars tumble and end up destroyed while the driver walks away with no injuries at all. However, an accident that happened during a Porsche race may be the strangest yet.
As you can see in this image, we have a pair of Porsche Carrera racecars sitting atop one another. The strange accident happened during Race 2 of the Porsche Carrera Cup France event and involved drivers Joffrey de Narda and Jules Gounon. Another driver called Alexander Cougnud bumped the rear of the car driven by de Narda and sent his car spinning.
The other car was hit and ended up launched into the air where it came to rest right on top of the other car driven by de Narda. Gounon did suffer fractured vertebra in the accident. I hope that both drivers will recover fully from one of the strangest accidents I have ever seen. This sort of brings racing porn to a new level.
