Porsche has announced the Macan GTS SUV and the car gets power from a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine. That V6 engine makes 360hp and 369 lb-ft of torque and can push the Macan GTS from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds when fitted with the Sport Chrono Package. The SUV has a top speed of 159 mph. In addition to more performance the Macan GTS also has unique exterior and interior features.
Power from the V6 engine goes to the ground via all-wheel drive mated to a 7-speed PDK transmission. Porsche also equips the SUV with the Porsche Traction Management System and stability management system. The Sport Chrono option adds larger brakes with six piston calipers.
The Porsche Traction Vectoring system is optional. Air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management is standard and offers adjustable ride height and damper stiffness. The Macan GTS is 10mm lower than the Macan Turbo and features matte black Spyder design wheels. LED headlights and a nav system are optional. Leather and GTS sport seats are standard with Alcantara seat centers and GTS logos on the headrests. The base price for the Macan GTS will be $67,200 and it will go on sale in March 2016.
