Polestar has unveiled its latest EV called the Polestar 2. The car is an all-electric fastback sedan that is aiming to compete directly with the Tesla Modle 3. The Tesla retails for 39,900 euros compared to the much more expensive Polestar 2 at 59,900 euros.
What you get for the money in the Polestar 2 is a premium 5-door fastback with a pair of electric motors and a 78 kWh battery. The automaker is targeting 500 km driving range per charge. The vehicle has a total of 408hp and 487 lb-ft of torque.
Polestar says that will add up to a 0-100 km/h time of under five seconds. The car can be enhanced with an optional Performance Pack adding Ohlins dampers, and Brembo brakes with special 20-inch forged wheels.
