Pioneer has announced two new Elite Receivers for home theater and audio enthusiasts that have some interesting features. The two receivers include the VSX-43 and the VSX-70. The 43 receiver is a 7.1-channel unit while the 70 is a 7.2-channel unit. Both receivers support multi-zone audio and 4K Ultra HD pass-through.
The VSX-43 can be configured as a true 7.1-channel set up or as a 5.1-channel set up with the extra channels used to produce audio in another room. The VSX-70 supports various entertainment in three zones including two additional speakers in one’s own for audio and a third zone outputting HDMI source.
Both devices allow users to play different sources at one time in the different zones. Both of the receivers also support control bus smartphones running Pioneer apps. The receivers support all sorts of audio and video content in formats. Both receivers are available now with the VSX-43 selling for $525 and VSX-70 selling for $750.
