Philips has today unveiled their new Phillips Hue BR30 recessed lights which can be controlled by your smartphone and are now available to purchase from the likes of Amazon for $59 per bulb $199 for a pack of 3 which also includes a Hue bridge.
The Phillips Hue BR30 is heading to the US and the Phillips Hue GU10 will be headed to Europe and the Phillips Hue BR30 offers a 630 lumens and all use the same wireless systems enabling users with iOS or Android smartphones and tablets to be able to control the colour and brightness.
The Phillips Hue GU10 bulb has been specifically designed for use in Europe and can be used within downlighter setups and track lighting systems. The new Phillips Hue GU10 bulbs will go on sale in the UK and Europe from today, priced at £179 for a kit with three bulbs and the ZigBee base or at £49 individually. The Phillips Hue GU10 will also be available in the US during December but as yet no pricing details have been released by Phillips.
Phillips today also unveiled their new Living Color Bloom lamp which they have partnered with Disney to create and sports the icon Micky Mouse ears. Prices for the new Disney Living Colour Bloom lamp have still yet to be announced.
