The team behind creating the Pebble smartwatch that took the Kickstarter crowd funding website by storm by raising a massive $10.2 million, has this week announced they have chosen AT&T to be the exclusive carrier of choice for their Pebble smartwatch.
Pebble smart watches will be arriving in AT&T from September 27th and AT&T will be the very first carrier to sell the Pebble. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the functions of the Pebble smartwatch.
To re-cap the Pebble smartwatch is fitted with a1.26-inch 144 × 168 pixel black and white ultra low power memory LCD with backlight, together with a vibrating motor, a magnetometer, ambient light sensors and a three-axis accelerometer. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and provides notification as there arrive on your phone directly on your wrist.
The Pebble smartwatch will be available on AT&T’s Web site and in some of its retail stores on September 27 and will eventually roll out to more AT&T stores in October priced at $150.
