The other day we told you about the PancakeBot printer that will print out pancakes in any shape you want and then cook them.
The creators of the PancakeBot launched their device on Kickstarter a few days ago with a $50,000 goal and they have already managed to raise over $132,000 in just a few days, so the device will go into production.
How the PancakeBot Works
The PancakeBot printer is an innovative kitchen gadget that combines technology and culinary arts to create custom-shaped pancakes. The device uses a combination of software and hardware to allow users to design their pancake shapes on a computer. These designs are then transferred to the PancakeBot, which uses a batter dispenser to “print” the pancake onto a griddle in the desired shape. The griddle then cooks the pancake to perfection.
The video below shows how the PancakeBot printer works, the device will retail for $299 when it launches, although it is available on Kickstarter for $179.
Features and Benefits
One of the standout features of the PancakeBot is its user-friendly software, which allows even those with minimal technical skills to create intricate pancake designs. The software includes pre-loaded templates, but users can also create their own designs from scratch. This makes it a fun and educational tool for families, as children can get involved in designing their breakfast.
Another significant benefit is the ease of cleaning. The PancakeBot is designed with detachable parts that can be easily cleaned, making it convenient for everyday use. The batter dispenser is also designed to minimize mess, ensuring that your kitchen stays clean while you create your pancake masterpieces.
The PancakeBot is not just a novelty item; it has practical applications as well. For instance, it can be used in educational settings to teach children about technology and engineering principles. It can also be a valuable tool for restaurants and cafes looking to offer unique and customizable menu items to attract customers.
