Panasonic has added another rugged notebook to its range with the launch of the Panasonic Toughbook 31. The Panasonic Toughbook 31 features Intel’s new Core i3 and Core i5 processors, and comes with ATI Radeon HD 5650 discrete graphics.
The Panasonic Toughbook 31 features a 13.1 inch touchscreen LED backlit display, 2GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM as standard with the option to upgrade to 8GB.
The base model features a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3 processor, a 160GB hard drive, and Intel’s HM55 graphics, whilst the high end model features a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.07GHz, a 250GB hard drive and ATI Radeon HD5650 and integrated Intel QM57 graphics.
There are quite a few optional extras for the Toughbook 31 which include a webcam, GPS receiver, smart card and fingerprint readers, and the Toughbook 31 comes with rugged certifications above MIL-STD-810G standards.
Prices start at $3,799 and it will be available later today.
