Blizzard Entertainment developers of the new Overwatch game which is currently in its closed beta development stage, have this week announced the roll-out of a new Overwatch patch which brings with it a new map, new mode and improves the “play of the game” feature.
Blizzard is preparing to launch the new Overwatch game in a few months time on May 24th making it available to play on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
If you have already been involved in the closed beta development and are looking for some new content the new escort map called Route 66 is sure to provide a refreshing new angle to play as well as the new weekly modes called Weekly Brawl but when enabled apply unconventional rulesets that limit you to a specific character or transform you into a different character every time you respawn.
To re-cap Overwatch is a team-based, multiplayer shooter featuring a cast of 21 dynamic heroes. Taking place on a near-future Earth, Overwatch gives players the ability to bend time, defy physics, and unleash over-the-top powers and weapons.
Soldiers. Scientists. Adventurers. Oddities. In a time of global crisis, an international task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world: Overwatch.
It ended the crisis and helped to maintain peace in the decades that followed, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery. But after many years, Overwatch’s influence waned, and it was eventually disbanded.
