As the Android open source Ouya console edges closer to its launch date, gamers are eagerly anticipating enjoying the wealth of Android and PC games that will be available to play once the Ouya console launches.
However another side to the Ouya console offers entertainment in a different vein and allows you to enjoy the likes of XBMC media app centre on the Ouya Console. To provide you with a glimpse of what you can expected from the Ouya console running XBMC ones of its developers has put together a short demonstration.
XBMC developer Nathan Betzen explains a little more about their software running on the Ouya console:
“Ouya gave a few of us XBMC Team members the chance to show off their console at SCALE 2013. After SCALE was over, I took the time (with the help of my niece Aly) to record some video of the Ouya running XBMC and performing fantastic hardware decoding.”
