A company called Outdoor Technology has announced a new set of wireless headphones set to launch this fall called the Tuis. The headphones have a number of features that you would expect to find on a set of high-end wireless headphones. The features include integrated music and call controls allowing you to control tracks on your smartphone or other music player from the headphones.
Power comes from an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery good for 16 hours of music playback per charge. The battery is also good for as much as 19 hours of talk time. The headphones have a folding design for portability and come in a hard case making them easy to store when not in use. Other features include a 3.5 mm jack allowing them to be used with devices that don’t support Bluetooth technology.
All of the music and call controls are situated on the right earpiece and the manufacturer promises crystal-clear high quality audio. The wireless range is up to 30 feet from your device. Inside the padded ear cups are a pair of 40 mm drivers and the headphones are good for up to 400 hours of standby time per charge. Dimensions are 6.9 x 6.5 x 1.26-inches and the headphones weigh 6.1 ounces. The Tuis headphones will ship in October for $149.99.
