We previously heard that Motorola were working on the Android Lollipop update for the first generation Moto X smartphone and not it looks like the update is getting closer to release.
Motorola has released the Android Lollipop soak test for the Moto X and selected owners of the handset are now testing out the Android Lollipop update on the handset before the final release.
The soak test of the Android Lollipop update is apparently Android 5.0.2 and not the latest Android 5.1 that was released recently.
As yet there are not details on exactly when the first generation Moto X Android Lollipop update will be released, as soon as we get some more details on exactly when it will be made available, we will let you guys know.
