Restaurant owners looking to embrace technology and help communicate with their customers as well as make ordering a little easier for both sides, may be interested in a new piece of hardware called the Ordercube which is launched by Kickstarter this week with the aim of raising €25,000
Watch the video below to learn more about how the Ordercube can streamline the ordering and communication process between your customers and waitering staff.
What the Ordercube is? To put long things short: We want to change the restaurant experience for the better. What if you had a gadget to communicate with your waiter? Well, that’s what we are all about.
Our concept: Communication is everywhere and all around us. Everyday we use most gadgets simply to communicate with others. Imagine a world without E-Mail, Smartphones or PC – easy to realize, that communication devices help us in almost every conceivable situation. Still there seem to be some places where a communication device seems to be desperately missing. We are talking about restaurants.
How often have you as a guest been trying to catch your waiter’s attention in a crowded restaurant? And let’s be honest: The waiter is not to blame if he can’t keep up with every guest’s needs when the place is completely overfilled. It’s barely imaginable to keep a structured overview without any gadget that helps. And even if he did notice you – you just can’t know for sure and thus will keep on trying to catch his attention. Naturally, feel ignored, get stressed out.
This is the simple problem that we decided to find a solution for. The Ordercube is what we came up with. What if you just passed on the responsibility to call the waiter to an easy to use gadget? The idea was born in 2013 – and now you can help us to make it reality.
