Opera has today launched a new version of its Opera mini browser in the form of Opera Mini 7.5 for Android, which includes a new social network smart page.
Opera Mini 7.5 for Android has been redesigned to include a new social tab, news section and an offering of links which are based on your current location.
Opera CEO Lars Boilesen explained in an interview: “This is a real time saver,”-“There are just too many social networks, and I’m a busy man. Now, thanks to the Smart Page, I can get all the updates at a glance, even from my favorite Danish newspapers.”
As always the Opera Mini 7.5 for Android compresses data to save mobile data bandwidths, which Opera claims can save upto 90 percent of a users data charges on a pay-per-megabyte plan.
The latest Opera Mini 7.5 for Android can now be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
