eReader and E Ink screen manufacturer Onyx has this week unveiled a new addition to their range of hardware with the unveiling of the new Onyx Boox Max Carta which offers users a larger screen with a higher resolution display.
Apart from the larger display the Onyx Boox Max Carta is practically identical to the original Max but is now equipped with an E Ink Carta 2200 x 1650 pixel display.
Other features of the eReader include a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor supported by1GB of RAM together with 16GB of storage. The hardware runs an Android 4.0-based operating system and is powered by a a 4,100 mAh battery. Offering connectivity via 802.11b/g/ WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as a a micro USB 2.0 port, and a handy microSD card reader.
