Onkyo has launched a new HD Audio PC, the APX-2.
It features an Intel Core 2 Duo T550 1.66GHZ processor, 1GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD to store all those audio files.
It also features a built in digital audio amplifier, and the HDD is stores in a super floating HDD unit to reduce vibration and improve the audio.
It runs Windows Vista, and has custom software installed to bypass the HD audio support in Vista and improve the sound quality.
No word on pricing or availability as yet, but if it is anything like their high end Hi Fi kit it wont be cheap.
