We recently heard a rumor that the new OnePlus 6T would come with and in display fingerprint sensor and now it would appear this has been confirmed by the company.
This was recently confirmed to Cnet, you can see an official statement that was given to Cnet by OnePlus below.
“We unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action,” said OnePlus in an email to CNET. “By adding this feature as an addition to other display unlocking options such as Face Unlock, users will have options to unlock the display in a way that is most efficient for them.”
OnePlus will apparently be making their new OnePlus 6T smartphone official in October, as soon as we get some more details on the handset, including a list of what other upgrades it will come with, we will let you guys know.
