There are plenty of different variations on the traditional roller-skate currently available but most require you to remove your footwear to get the best experience, or don’t offer the performance of a full skate.
French company FlaneurZ is hoping to change this and has developed an innovative set of clip-on skates called On Wheelz, that can be connected to your everyday trainers or shoes after a little modification.
Watch the video below to learn more about this new roller-skate connection that may transform the way we think of using roller-skates on a daily basis. The On Wheelz project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise €30,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
“Thanks to On Wheelz, your daily commute will become fun, fast, easy, eco-friendly and will allow you to get some physical exercise in a non-voluminous way. Tone your glutes, hips, pelvis as well as your quads, back, abdominals and developing your balance skills, speed, agility, flexibility, and of course, reflexes.”
So if you think On Wheelz is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help On Wheelz become a reality with pledges starting from €250.
