Since the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor launched there have been rumors of overheating issues with the processor.
LG decided to go for the Snapdragon 808 in their new LG G4 smartphone and Samsung used their own Exynos 7420 in the Galaxy S6, they were previously rumored to be using the Snapdragon 810.
LG previously mentioned that the Snapdragon 810 overheating issues had been fixed, although they decided not to use the processor in their new flagship.
Now mobile carrier NT DoCoMo is apparently advising its customers that handsets with the Snapdragon 810 may overheat, this was discovered at a NT DoCoMo store in Tokyo, where the company placed a sign advising customers that some devices with the processor could overheat.
The sign says that owners of the Sharp Aquos Zeta, Fujitsu Arrows NX and Sony Xperia Z4, all of which use the Snapdragon 810 to periodically switch of their handset and also to turn the device off whilst it is charging.
Qualcomm has said in the past that there no issues with their Snapdragon 810 processor, although there are a number of reports of handsets overheating.
