Find an environmentally friendly footwear to wear is becoming much easier than previously thanks to the increase in sustainable sneakers and boots. One company entering the environmentally friendly footwear market is Norm, a sustainable sneaker that offers users an 80% Lower Carbon Footprint and is constructed from 90% recycled materials.
Norm has been created by three friends from Belgium, Antoine, Arnaud and Nicolas, all of which have gained experience from working in the shoe industry. The team explain a little more about the inspiration behind the Norm environmentally friendly footwear. “More and more confronted with the impact our work have on the planet, we started to look for solutions. We realised how complicated it was to find a stylish sneakers brand that takes sustainability seriously. Every single decision we take, every single choice we make, is made with sustainability as a driver. For 18 months, from the sole to the laces, we designed, we searched, we developed, to achieve our goals. We didn’t want to compromise, we wanted to reach the highest level of sustainability on the market, yet with a pretty cool style!“
Pledges are available from €115 and two trees are planted for every pair sold.
