We have already seen a couple of videos of the new Nokia 808 PureView smartphone in action, and now Nokia has released a new promo video for their 808 PureView smartphone, which you can see below.
As a reminder, the Nokia 808 PureView runs Symbian Belle as its OS and features a 41-megapixel camera and a 4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels.
Impressive Camera Capabilities
The standout feature of the Nokia 808 PureView is undoubtedly its 41-megapixel camera. This camera is not just about the high megapixel count; it also includes advanced imaging technology that allows for superior photo quality. The PureView technology uses pixel oversampling, which means it can combine multiple pixels to create a single, high-quality pixel. This results in incredibly detailed and sharp images, even when zoomed in. The camera also supports full HD 1080p video recording, making it a versatile tool for both photography and videography enthusiasts.
Additionally, the camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics, which are known for their high quality and precision. The inclusion of a Xenon flash ensures that photos taken in low-light conditions are well-lit and clear. The camera also features various shooting modes and settings, allowing users to customize their photography experience to suit different scenarios.
Performance and Storage
Other specifications of the Nokia 808 PureView include a 1.3GHz single-core processor. While this may seem modest compared to today’s multi-core processors, it is sufficient for running Symbian Belle smoothly and handling everyday tasks efficiently. The phone also comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which provides ample space for apps, photos, and videos. For those who need more storage, the microSD card slot supports cards up to 32GB, allowing for significant expansion.
The 4-inch AMOLED display is another highlight of the device. AMOLED technology is known for its vibrant colors and deep blacks, providing an excellent viewing experience for photos, videos, and other media. The display’s resolution of 640 x 960 pixels ensures that content is sharp and clear.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 808 PureView includes support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. This makes it easy to stay connected and share content with other devices. The phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to enjoy their music and videos with their favorite headphones.
We still don’t have an exact launch date for the handset, but as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
