Yesterday Nokia made their latest Windows Phone smartphone official, the Nokia Lumia 1020. The Nokia Lumia 1020 features a 4.5 inch WXGA AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.
The Lumia 1020 is powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor, there is also 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, plus 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with a 41 megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization, Nokia Pro Camera, a Xenon flash for photos and an LED flash for video, it is capable of shooting photos with a 7712 x 5360 pixel resolution.
The Nokia Lumia 1020, announced in New York today, marries the second generation of Nokia’s massive 41-megapixel sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS) to smash the benchmarks of smartphone photography. The Lumia 1020 combines unmatched picture detail and quality with an effortless capture, edit and sharing features.
The Lumia 1020 will launch in the US with mobile carrier AT&T on the 26th of July, the handset will set you back $299.99 with a new two year contract.
Nokia have also said that the Lumia 1020 will be headed to Europe and China before the end of the quarter, the handset will be available in black, white and yellow.
