If you are in the market for a basic work truck, the 2017 Nissan Titan and Titan XD single cab models might be just the ticket. The starting price for the Titan single cab is under $30,000 making it one of the cheapest full-size trucks on the market today. The Titan S single cab 4×2 starts at $29,580 and the Titan XD S single cab gas truck starts at $31,090.
Each of the models has a standard 8-foot bed, 12,640 pound towing capacity, Bluetooth, and available RearView monitor. Both the single cab trucks are offered in S or SV versions. The only engine offered in the standard Titan is the 390hp 5.6L gas V8. The Titan XD can be had with the same gas V8 or with the 5.0L V8 Cummins turbo diesel.
Both the single cab trucks offer 5yr/100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. If you need the 4×4 version of this truck, the S single cab 4×4 starts at $32,610 with the SV at $35,490. The XD S 4×4 is $34,120, the SV 4×4 starts at $38,020. Add in that diesel and the XD S 4×4 diesel starts at $40,170 and the SV 4×4 starts at $44,070.
