Severn Valley Motorsports in the UK has created a Frankenstein monster of a tuck and it is glorious. The truck started life as a Nissan Navara. SVM took the engine out of a Nissan GT-R and crammed it under the hood resulting in a truck with 800hp that the company will build you if your pockets are deep enough. The hopped up Navara can be built if you desire and there are a wide range of options.
You can get a straight stock 550hp engine from a GT-R up to a 1500hp monster. You can even get the truck body placed directly on a Nissan GT-R chassis giving you the AWD, techno-goodies, and power from a GT-R in a truck body. That is my type of El Camino.
If you want the truck body grafted onto the GT-R chassis you will need to cough up £175,000 before VAT. Other options include a manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive, whatever. The company says it is open to crazy ideas and anything is possible. “We can produce these types of vehicles if we get the go-ahead for one from a customer,” Anthony said.
