Yesterday Nintendo announced their second generation Wii console, the Nintendo Wii U, and as we had previously reported it features a controller with a built in 6 inch touchscreen display that can be used to play games on and also as the controller.
The Nintendo Wii U is capable of Full HD in 1080p, and it is also compatible with your existing Wii controllers and including the Wiimote and the Wii Fit, have a look at the video of it in action below.
It certainly looks like an interesting console, and the fact that the controller can also be used to play games on the actual controller display is pretty cool.
