When Nike first launched their then new Nike+ FuelBand back at the beginning of 2012 the market for fitness trackers was new and dominated by just a few products.
Now the fitness tracking market is a much more crowded spar with a new device launching every couple of weeks into the market promising to help us track our fitness levels and sleep patterns.
Now Nike has updated their offering with the launch of the Nike+ FuelBand SE which is now equipped with battery saving Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and colourful inside finishes available in either yellow, pink or red and a handy double tap to reveal the time function as well as the ability to now track your sleep patterns.
Over the past year Nike has been working hard on refining the technology used in its new Nike+ FuelBand SE and its now more accurate calculating the exercise you are partaking in and is less easy to cheat than the previous version, recording actions that need to be recorded and drop actions that are not required to quantify your fitness level.
The Verge tech website has already been able to get their hands on the new Nike+ FuelBand SE fitness tracker and has put it through its paces in the video below.
The latest Nike+ FuelBand in the form of the Nike+ FuelBand SE will be available to purchase from November 6th 2013 and will be priced at $149 and a new application will also be released for both Android and iOS as the same time.
