It seems that mobile phone companies aren’t the only ones offering discounted netbooks, the New York Times is now offering $100 off the price of a new Samsung Netbook.
In order to get the $100 discount you need to sign up for the TimesReader 2.0 service, which gives you access to all the New York Times content for an annual fee of $179.40.
You will be able to buy the Samsung Go netbook for $279.99 which is a saving of $100, but you will have to pay $179.40 on top of that for the NYT subscription, so you could just buy the netbook on its own, and read most of the same content online for free and save yourself $79.40.
