Those of you lucky enough to own a virtual reality headset and would also like to combine a little old school retro gaming may be interested to know that a new virtual reality retro arcade tech demo is now available to download via Steam and includes 10 custom built mini games including Aimbot, Zombie Problem II, Bowling, Air Hockey and Skeeball.
The tech demo has been created to provide a glimpse of what the full game will have to offer and provides the same amount of content as the previous free versions of Retro Arcade, and is supported by both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets.
The demonstration takes input from tracked motion controllers, gamepad as well as keyboard and mouse and can be enjoyed by either seated, standing all rooms scale environments.
New Retro Arcade: Neon is your personal 80’s/early 90’s arcade. Oozing with nostalgia & forgotten smells, you’ll soon find yourself engrossed with its retro realism and truly authentic surroundings. Laugh, play and hang out with your friends, or enter a virtual zone of your own.
Don’t meet your friends on the weekend; instead get together with your buddies inside your own virtual arcade! New Retro Arcade: Neon allows for up to 6 players online, so you’ll soon be reliving old memories and creating new ones too! Become the top dog by beating each other’s high scores, work as a team and overcome challenges together or sit back, relax and let the atmosphere take control.
