The Twitch game streaming service which was recently purchased by Amazon, has this week announced it will soon becoming a more social experience and will soon have a friends list that can be used to keep track of your close Twitch community.
The news of the incoming Twitch friends list was announced over the weekend at PAX East during which Twitch alliance a number of new incoming features as well as unveiling the newly redesigned Creative Directory.
As well as the ability to view live streams and free for those that are willing to make a monthly or annual subscription. Twitch explains more.
Twitch Creative has always been built around the incredible communities of streamers that are showcasing their creative talents, and the new design helps us better support communities like Painting, Cosplay, Food, Game Development and more. Now you can view subdirectories and see highlighted streamers within some of the most popular Creative categories by selecting the hashtags at the top.
Twitch is about to become much more friendly… with the introduction of Friends List! Friends List lets you connect to Friends, see who’s online, and whisper them with just one click! Soon we will be sending out the first round of invites for the Friends List Beta. Once you’re in, you’ll have your very own Friends List and be able to send Friend requests to other Twitch users that will double as invitations to the Beta.
