As well as the new Moto G, Motorola also announced their new Moto X smartphone and the handset will be available in two versions, the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style.
The Moto X Style is the top end model, the handset comes with a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Processing is provided by a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor and it comes with an Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The X Style comes with a choice of 32GB or 64GB of built in storage and the device also comes with a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB, the handset also features front and rear facing cameras.
The front camera on the device is a 5 megapixel version, the rear camera is a 21 megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detect Auto-Focus, 4x digital zoom and the ability to record 4K video.
The handset also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE and it will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The Moto X Play has a lot of the same specifications, the differences are the display, processor and RAM. The display is a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the handset is powered by an octa core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 processor, the device also comes with 2GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of storage.
