It looks like the new Moto 360 2 smartwatch may have been leaked, the photo above was apparently shared by Lenovo’s CEO and it shows the second generation smartwatch.
The photo shows some of the new Moto 360 smart watches and also a range of parts for the device and there are some minor changes on the device compared to the existing model.
In the photo it can be seen that the new Moto 360 features exposed lugs, these are hidden on the current device, as can bee seen in the photo below.
This will allow for the new Moto 360 to use thicker straps like traditional watches, at the moment these are not compatible with the current design of the device.
It looks like there are not many other changes to the design of the second generations Moto 360, we are expecting the majority of the changes to be inside the device.
The current model comes a 1.56 inch display with a resolution of 320 x 290 pixels and it has TI OMAP 3 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of included storage, there is also a 320 mAh battery.
We would expect the new 360 to come with a faster processor, more RAM and storage and a larger battery, whether or not the device will get an higher resolution display remains to be seen.
As yet there are no details on when the second generation Moto 360 will launch, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
