Google has yet to launch a commercial version of Google Glass, the company currently offers a developer version which retail for around $1500, and now we have some details on a new Google Glass devicer.
According to a recent report by the WSJ, a new Google Glass is in the works, and the device will apparently be powered by a Intel processor.
The current Google Glass comes with a Texas Instruments processor, Intel will replace the processor in the new Google Glass, and Intel has plans to promote the device to businesses, which will include manufacturers and hospital networks, and they will also develop new workplace uses for the device.
Google has a program called Glass and Work, and it is working with a number of developers in an attempt to bring Glass to companies as a business tool.
Both Intel and Google can obviously see potential in using Google Glass as a business tool, the device will also be sold to consumers some time next year.
As yet there are no details on exactly when this new version of Google Glass will launch, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
