At their Apple Watch earlier this month Apple dropped the price of their Apple TV to $69 and now it looks like we have some information on the new Apple TV.
We have been hearing rumors for a while that the new Apple TV would come with apps and games built in and now it looks like Apple is getting ready to launch the device.
According to John Paczkowski from BuzzFeed, the new Apple TV will be unveiled at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference in June, we heard last week that Apple is getting ready to launch their new TV subscription service later this year.
The new Apple TV will apparently come with a major upgrade over the current models in terms of features, which will include apps on the Apple TV and also the company’s voice assistant, Siri. Apple are said to give the hardware in the device a significant bump and the updated Apple TV is said to come with the Apple A8 processor and also considerably more storage than the current model which has 8GB.
We presume that if Apple are launching apps on the Apple TV then the company will also make games available on the platform, this is something that Apple TV users have been hoping Apple would introduce for some time.
