Amazon has this week rolled out a new feature called Instant Previews to its Amazon Kindle for Android application. That will also be made available on Kindle e-readers and other devices coming later this year.
The new Amazon Kindle Instant Previews for Android has been designed to allow Kindle app users to share snippets of books they are reading with friends and family via the major social networking services as well as messaging and email.
Kindle makes it easier than ever to recommend a books to a friend or chat about a funny quote. Share with the apps you use every day to chat with friends. Choose from popular mobile messaging apps like Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, as well as email, texting, and more.
Often when you are reading a book, a quote inspires you to think of someone. It’s a specific person, not all of your friends on Facebook. Now you can share exactly what you want from a book with whomever you want – one friend, a group, or more.
Even if they’ve never used Kindle before, your friends can instantly start reading the book you’ve shared with them, right from their phone, tablet, or PC. With one tap, they will see the quote you’ve shared and can instantly start reading a free sample of the book – no need to sign up, sign in, or install an app.
