Virgin Media has today announced that their customers will soon be able to enjoy the Netflix service on their Virgin Media TiVo set-top boxes very soon.
Netflix will offer existing Virgin Media customers the ability to watch the likes of Breaking Bad, House of Cards and Arrested Development to name just a few.
The new Netflix service will be piloted at 40,000 Virgin Media TiVo homes throughout the UK this week, with a full launch to follow shortly after and eventually landing on 1.7 million Virgin Media TiVo boxes. The new Netflix rollout is part of the latest updates to Virgin Media TiVo.
“The Netflix app complements Virgin Media’s ever-expanding collection of over 6,000 hours of On Demand entertainment, all ready to watch instantly. Virgin Media TiVo customers will be able to easily search and browse titles across Virgin TV’s entire collection of films and TV programmes as well as from Netflix and other content apps including BBC iPlayer.”
