Some of our readers will remember the new ultraportable notebook from MSI, that we featured on the site back in November 2009, the MSI Wind U230. After a long wait the MSI Wind is finally available.
There are two models of the MSI Wind available, The MSI Win U230-033 features an AMD Athlon NEO MV-40 processor and a 250GB hard drive, whilst the Wind U230-040 features a dual core AMD Athlon X2 L335 processor and a 320GB hard drive.
Both models feature a 12.1 inch LCD display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics and 2GB of RAM. There is also integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port.
The MSI Wind U230 also features one VGA port, HDMI, three USB 2.0 ports, a microphone and headphone port plus a multi format card reader. Each model also has a 1.3 megapixel web camera and a six cell battery.
The MSI Wind U230-033 will be available for $430 whilst the Winds U230-40 will be available for $480, and both come with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
