If you or your family are looking to learn a little more about programming robots and how they work, you might be interested in a new mini robot that has been created called the MOwayduino.
The MOwayduino is a programmable Arduino-based robot toy designed to provide a learning and playing robotic environment, that links to companion applications and software. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the MOwayduino project and see it in action.
The MOwayduino mini robots are equipped with 4 anti-collision infrared sensors, 1 x directional light intensity sensor and 2 x opto-reflective infrared sensors that point to the surface the robot is placed on.
Other features of the MOwayduino mini robots include a 3 axis accelerometer, microphone, and rechargeable LiPo battery capable of providing 2 hours of use.
The MOwayduino mini robot are based on the Arduino Leonardo based robot, enabling you to develop your programs in C/C++ and come with an SPI expansion kit. For more information on the new MOwayduino mini robots jump over to the MOwayduino website for details.
