Not too long ago, Motorola reduced the price of the Moto X to $349.99 for the 16GB model, while the 32GB version now costs $399. If you think the soon-to-be Lenovo-owned company is done with the promotions, think again.
Motorola has announced that it will offer the highly customizable Moto X at a discounted price on May 1st. The 16GB model will be available for $299.99, while the 32GB model will come with a $324.99 price tag. Developer Edition Moto X will also get a price cut on May 1st, and will cost $324.99.
The sale will commence at 12:01am ET, and will continue for the next 24 hours. Do note the above mentioned prices are without contracts.
This is not the first time Motorola is offering a discount on the Moto X. The company reduced the price of the handset on Cyber Monday as well, which didn’t turn out to be as smooth as the company expected it to be, and as a result, it was postponed. However, we’re hoping the promotion on May 1st will go on without any hiccups.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Moto X rocks a 4.7-inch 720p display, a dual-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 10MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,200 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 out of the box, but it can be upgraded to Android 4.4 Kitkat.
