Moto 360 is possibly one of the best smartwatches we’ve seen to date. It’s not yet available in the market, but Motorola said at Google I/O that it will hit retail later this summer.
According to a new report, Motorola Moto 360 will be available through Moto Maker, and will launch alongside the Moto X+1.
Actually, this isn’t surprising at all since several reports in the past have suggested that it will launch alongside the successor of the Moto X. What’s more interesting is that it will be available via Moto Maker. This could mean that Motorola may give users the ability to customize the Moto 360, similar to what they’ve done with the Moto X.
But, what kind of customization are we looking at? Well, it could be the difference of straps — it could launch with an option to choose from a leather, plastic or steel strap. However, the one showcased at the Google I/O conference featured leather bands.
The smartwatch is also rumored to be priced at around $200, but there’s no confirmation from Motorola about it. It could possibly launch in August, the same time when Motorola launched the Moto X last year.
We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the pricing and availability of the Moto 360.
