Misfit the Fossil own fitness tracking device manufacturer is showcasing a new GPS smartwatch they have created in the form of the Misfit Vapor, which will be available to preorder later this year for $199, with shipping expected to take place during the summer months.
The Misfit Vapor is capable of playing music and tracking your runs without the need for a smartphone to be linked, although the watch does have a companion application which allows you to access settings and monitor data when back at base.
The GPS smartwatch is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and fitted with 4 GB of storage, and a battery capable of providing up to 2 days of life on a single charge. Vapor is also water resistant to 50 m enabling you to continue wearing the smartwatch during swimming sessions without the worry that it will sustained water damage.
Connectivity is provided by GPS, Bluetooth and wireless and can be used with a set of Bluetooth headphones without the need to carry your smartphone. When the Misfit Vapor GPS smartwatch officially launches during the summer 2017 it will be available in either rose gold or black finishes as pictured above.
